Southern States Junior Classics' (SSJC) fifth season will present atleast 8 regional championships and 1 team invitational at outstanding Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Georgia area golf courses in 2020. SSJC Regional Championships are first class multi-day events designed for junior golfers to establish and enhance their junior golf ranking while competing for national performance based entry opportunities. Caddies are encouraged for all players in all age divisions. JOSHUA CUP presented by Step by Step Golf is a match play team invitational event which features a modified Ryder Cup style format. Junior Golf Scoreboard and Global Junior Golf Rankings publish the results of our events for junior golf ranking purposes. American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) recognizes our qualifying SSJC age division results for Performance Based Entry (PBE Stars). Hurricane Junior Golf Tour awards SSJC SUMMER OPEN age division champions with qualifying spots into their national championship events. North American Junior Amateur awards SSJC Music City CHALLENGE top two finishers by age division with qualifying spots. FCG Callaway World Championship awards as many as 3 qualifying spots by age division for SSJC Fall SHOOTOUT and Rocket City INVITATIONAL. SSJC participants are awarded Tennessee Golf Association Player of the Year points for our events which are contested in TN. Aligned with our mission, all intention is to deliver annual best-in-class events that build confidence and develop character within participants. Our SSJC Regional Championships are OPEN entry with NO Tour Membership Fees.

We believe our events are compelling and stand out among peers. First, in the spirit of our value: Family First, caddies are allowed in all age divisions. A relative, coach, or close family friend has the opportunity to "step inside the ropes" and enjoy walking the fairways as a teammate with their junior golfer. These opportunities are rare in top level junior golf competitions, and we are confident that our SSJC caddie policy is a positive differentiator. Finally, we are laser focused on building memorable experiences. Southern States Junior Classics strives to provide annual destinations for aspiring junior golfers and their families for years to come.
